 The U21 team play Strokestown in the county semi final next weekend, check local press for date and venue. The Club AGM took place last Sunday in the O’Rourke centre. The following officers were elected for 2012. Presidents Eamon Campion, Danny Burke and Johnny Mahony, Chairman Martin Duggan, Vice chair Dermot Lyons jnr, Secretary Marie McDermott, Ass Sec Vincent Finan, Treasurer Barry Egan, Ass Treasurer Marie Stenson, PRO Johnny Flynn, Registrar Michael Guthrie, Insurance Officer Johnny Mahony, County Board Delegates Seamus Coyne, Johnny Flynn and Vincent Finan, Northern Board delegate Michael Keenan, Players rep David Scahill, Bord Na nOg Colm Larkin, Hurling Martin Perrill, Ladies football Tommy Finan, Schools liaison officer Danny Burke, Committee Paddy Duignan, John Murphy and Ollie Finneran, A.S.A.P officer Johnny Flynn, Cultural officer Sarah Callaghan and Patsy Finan,Childrens officer Collette Kelly. Copies of the Castlerea GAA Parish History are still available and can be purchased at Cahill’s Super Value, Doyle’s main street, Mulvihill’s and Lyons Mace or by contacting 086-0617670. A copy of the history would make an ideal gift for someone living away from home. There was no winner of the lotto jackpot of €10,750 on Friday 09-12-2011. Numbers drawn on the night were 11, 19, 22, and 28. €40 winners on the night were Patsy & Mary, Cian McLoughlinn, Patsy Lally, Winnie Corrigan, Ann Regan and Rita Crowley. Next weeks jackpot is €10,900 and the draw takes place in the Mulvihill’s on Friday 16th December. Castlerea St Kevin’s thanks everyone who supports our lotto.
