The Keith Revins Tyres sponsored senior team play Clan Na nGael in round three of the senior championship in O’Rourke Park next Saturday at 7-15pm. This is part of a double header with St Brigid’s playing Boyle at 5-30pm. Please come and support the team. The senior team defeated St Dominic’s in their final O’Gara Cup game last Sunday in Knockcroghery, they have qualified for the O’Gara Cup semi final. The junior team defeated Roscommon Gael’s in the division four league last Wednesday in O’Rourke Park. There was no winner of the €7,100 lucky numbers jackpot on Friday 11th August; numbers drawn on the night were 6, 13, 14 and 16. €50 winners on the night were Martha Finan, Danny Burke, Joanne Sharkey, Ann Murhpy and Stephanie Keane. Next weeks jackpot is €7,200 and the draw takes place in The Hester’s on Friday 18th August. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or from any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5. Castlerea St Kevin’s thanks everyone who supports our lotto. Next bingo in O’Rourke Centre on Friday 18th August at 8-30pm. The jackpot will be €1,800 on 45 calls or less, or €300 on 48 calls or less. Quick lotto is at €250. Minor Football: The u16 boy’s were defeated by Roscommon Gael’s in the division two championship last Sunday in Lisnamult; they play St Michael’s next Sunday in O’Rourke Park at 12pm. The u14 boy’s play Kilmore/Shannon Gael’s in the division two championship next Thursday in O’Rourke Park at 7-30pm, they play Strokestown next Tuesday 22nd August in Strokestown at 7-30pm. The u12 boy’s play St Ronan’s in the summer league next Friday in O’Rourke Park at 7pm, they play St Michael’s next Saturday in Ardcarne Park at 12pm. Well done to Jack Keane, James Larkin, Andrew Lyons and Donal Brennan and the Roscommon u17 team and management on their great win in the All Ireland Semi final against Kerry in Ennis last Saturday. Ladies Football: The u14 girl’s were defeated by Roscommon Gael’s in the summer league last Thursday in the Community School pitch; they defeated St Michael’s in the C final last Saturday in Fuerty. Well done to all involved. The minor girl’s defeated Michael Glavey’s in the division three championship last Thursday in Ballinlough, they play Four Roads next Thursday in Four Roads at 7-30pm. The junior ladies play St Barry’s in the junior A championship semi final in Enfield next Saturday. Check or local press for all fixtures and results. A reminder to all Roscommon supporters that the Club Rossie draw takes place next Friday. Anyone wishing to purchase a ticket can contact Castlerea St Kevin’s secretary Marie McDermott on 086-8478459 or any club member. This is the Roscommon GAA main fundraising event and it is essential for the development of all underage teams in the county. The results can be seen in the u17 football team that has qualified for the All Ireland final against Tyrone in Croke Park on Sunday 27th August at 12pm. Castlerea St Kevin’s have four players on the panel.
