The June executive meeting of the club takes place in the O’Rourke Centre on Tuesday night 16th June at 8-30pm. The senior team defeated Fuerty in Mulhern Park last Sunday. The junior team defeated Padraig Pearse’s last Saturday in O’Rourke Park. They play St Dominic’s in round three of the junior championship next Sunday in O’Rourke park at 3-30pm. The u14 boy’s team play Tulsk in the division two championship in Tulsk next Thursday at 7-30pm. The u12 boy’s were defeated by Strokestown in the league semi final last Saturday in Strokestown. Congratulations to Hugh Rooney, Joseph Henry and the Roscommon senior hurling team on gaining promotion to the Christy Ring cup with their win over Mayo last Sunday. Best of luck to Neil Collins, Fintan Kelly and the Roscommon senior team in the Connaught semi final against Sligo in Sligo next Saturday evening. Numbers drawn on the night were 5, 6, 12, and 23. €50 winners on the night were Sherdian Quinn, Willie Gannon, P J Conneally and Valerie Callaghan. Next weeks jackpot is €11,200 and the draw takes place in McGourty’s on Friday 19th June. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5.
