Minor Football: The minor boys were defeated by St Brigid’s last Monday in Kiltoom. They play Clan Na nGael in the division one championship next Thursday in Lisnamult at 8pm and Strokestown in O’Rourke Park next Sunday at 3pm.The u14 boy’s play St Barry’s/Kilglass Gael’s in the division two shield final in Ballyleague next Sunday at 12pm. The u12 boy’s defeated Kilglass/St Barry’s last Wednesday in Kilglass. The underage local leagues commenced in O’Rourke park on Monday and will continue for the next few weeks. Check or local press for all fixtures and results. There was no winner of the €7,600 lucky numbers jackpot on Friday 15th September; numbers drawn on the night were 3, 13, 33 and 36. €50 winners on the night were Andrew McGourty, Joe McGril, Ann Hopkins, John Bohan and Edel Flanagan. Next weeks jackpot is €7,700 and the draw takes place in Caulfield’s Bar on Friday 22nd September. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or from any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5. Castlerea St Kevin’s thanks everyone who supports our lotto. Next bingo in O’Rourke Centre on Friday 22nd September at 8-30pm. The jackpot will be €2,000 on 45 calls or less, or €300 on 48 calls or less. Quick lotto is at €300.
