Castlerea St Kevin’s club AGM takes place in the O Rourke Centre on Saturday 02nd January at 6pm. As this is the most important club meeting of the year all club members are invited to attend, new members are always welcome. Castlerea St Kevin’s club night out takes place in Caulfield’s on Sunday 27th December in Caulfield’s. The following officers were elected at the recent Ladies Board AGM for the 2016 season. Chairman Vincent Finan, Vice Chairman Trina Joyce, Secretary Mary O Connell, Assistant Secretary Claire McDermott, Treasurer Geraldine Mulrenan, Pro Martin Murphy, Registrar Maggie Bermingham, Assistant Registrar Ann Greene, Development Officer Tommie Finneran, Cultural & Language Officer Teresa Canny, Children’s Officer Kate Curran and County Board Delegates Vincent Finan, Maggie Bermingham, Sharon Joyce and Martin Murphy. There was no winner of the lotto jackpot of €13,800 on Friday 18th December. Numbers drawn on the night were 4, 9, 13, and 30. €50 winners on the night were Derek Kennedy, Mary Perrill, Anthony Foley and Padraig Kearney. Next weeks jackpot is €13,900 and the draw takes place in Caulfield’s on Sunday 27th December. If the jackpot is not won next week there will be four €100 prizes drawn on the night. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or from any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5. Castlerea St Kevin’s thanks everyone who supports our lotto. Next bingo is in O’Rourke Centre on Friday 01st January at 8-30pm. The jackpot will be €1,750 on 45 calls or less. Quick lotto is at €2,900. There is no 25 card game on Sunday 27th December, 25 card games will recommence in the O’Rourke Centre on Sunday 03rd January starting at 8-30 pm, refreshments are served and new players are always welcome. We extend our sympathy to Kathleen Gunning and family Church Road on the death of Kathleen’s husband Seamus last week, may he rest in peace. We wish all our members, patrons and supporters a very happy and holy Christmas and a peaceful new year.
