The Keith Revins Tyres sponsored senior team were defeated by Clan Na nGael in round three of the senior championship in O’Rourke Park last Saturday, see match report elsewhere. We wish Cian McManus Clan Na nGael and Darren McDermott Castlerea St Kevin’s a speedy recovery from the injuries they sustained during the game. Thanks to all the club members who gave of their time to make sure both senior championship games were successfully staged in O’Rourke Park last Saturday. Thanks also to Castlerea Mart and Castlerea Celtic for the use of their facilities on the day. The senior team play St Croan’s in round four of the championship next Saturday in Hyde Park at 5-30pm.  Minor Football: The u16 boy’s game against St Michael’s in the division two championship was conceded by St Michael’s last Sunday. The u14 boy’s were defeated by Kilmore/Shannon Gael’s in the division two championship last Thursday in O’Rourke Park; they play Strokestown this Tuesday 22nd August in Strokestown at 7-30pm. The u12 boy’s games against St Ronan’s and St Michael’s in the summer league were postponed last week; they play Eire Og next Wednesday in O’Rourke Park at 7pm. Ladies Football: The u14 girl’s play Four Roads in the division three championship on Monday 21st August at 7pm in Four Roads. The minor girl’s play Four Roads in the division three championship on Monday 21st August in O’Rourke Park at 7pm. The junior ladies were defeated by St Barry’s in the junior A championship semi final in Enfield last Saturday. Check www.gaaroscommon.ie or local press for all fixtures and results. There was no winner of the €7,200 lucky numbers jackpot on Friday 18th August; numbers drawn on the night were 4, 13, 20 and 36. €50 winners on the night were Michael & Kathy Gannon, Mike Grogan, Kathleen Cox, Peter Caulfield and Michelle Flaherty. Next weeks jackpot is €7,300 and the draw takes place in The Silke’s on Friday 25h August. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or from any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5. Castlerea St Kevin’s thanks everyone who supports our lotto. Next bingo in O’Rourke Centre on Friday 25th August at 8-30pm. The jackpot will be €1,850 on 45 calls or less, or €300 on 48 calls or less. Quick lotto is at €250.
