The minor team were defeated by Oran in the division three league final last Friday in Oran, see report elsewhere. The u14 boy’s were defeated by St Michael’s last Thursday in O’Rourke Park, this completes their league programme. They will now compete in the division four championship. The u12 boy’s were defeated by Oran in the division two league last week, this completes their league programme for 2016. The girl’s u12 team were defeated by St Croan’s in the championship last Sunday in Enfield; they play Michael Glavey’s next Sunday in Ballinlough at 6pm. The girl’s u14 team were defeated by Clan Na nGael last week; they play Boyle in O’Rourke park next Wednesday at 7pm in the division one league. The ladies senior team had a walk over Kilmore in the division 4 league last Sunday; they play St Dominic’s next Sunday in Knockcroghery at 12pm. Congratulations to Chloe Finan who was a member of the Roscommon county u16 panel that beat Leitrim in the Connaught B final. We extend our sympathy to the O Sullivan family Barrack Street on the death of Declan’s wife Kay in England last week, may she rest in peace. There was no winner of the €16,000 lucky numbers jackpot on Friday 20th May; numbers drawn on the night were 6, 9, 25 and 33. €50 winners on the night were James McIntyre, Brendan Concannon, M Flynn and Margaret Gunning. Next weeks jackpot is €16,100 and the draw takes place in Doherty’s on Friday 29th May. The draw for annual ticket holders will take place on this night also. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or from any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5. Castlerea St Kevin’s thanks everyone who supports our lotto. Next bingo is in O’Rourke Centre on Friday 29th May at 8-30pm. The jackpot will be €2,500 on 45 calls or less, or €300 on 49 calls or less. Quick lotto is at €700.
