Football results: the girl’s u14 team defeated Western Gael’s and were defeated by Michael Glavey’s in the championship last week, the boy’s u14 team were defeated by St Faithleach’s in the division three championship last Thursday in O’Rourke Park. Football Fixtures: the girl’s minor team play St Brigid’s in the championship next Thursday in O’Rourke Park at 7pm, the boy’s u14 team play St Croan’s in the division three Championship next Thursday in Enfield at 8pm, the boy’s u16 team play St Faithleach’s in the championship next Sunday in Ballyleague at 12pm, the minor boy’s play Padraig Pearses in the championship next Monday in O’Rourke Park at 8pm and the ladies junior team play Eire Og next Sunday in the championship in O’Rourke Park next Sunday. Numbers drawn on the night were 8, 11, 24 and 34. €50 winners on the night were Noel Mannion, P J Conway, Cathal Finan, Stephanie Keane and Michelle/Ann Hopkins. Next weeks jackpot is €5,800 and the draw takes place in The Forge Inn on Friday 27th July. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or from any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5. Castlerea St Kevin’s thanks everyone who supports our lotto. Next bingo in O’Rourke Centre on Friday 27th July at 8-30pm. The jackpot will be €1,500 on 45 calls or less, or €300 on 48 calls or less. Quick lotto is at €500. Castlerea St Kevin’s thank all club members who assisted last Thursday in preparing O’Rourke Park for Saturdays LGFA senior championship game between Donegal and Tipperary at short notice. Thanks also to William Cornwall and the Community Employment staff for their assistance, to the ladies committee for providing refreshments for officials and providing shop facilities, to Paschal Fitzmaurice for the PA System, to Jack Murphy and Rory O Connell for operating the PA and finally to everyone who assisted in making sure everything went well on Saturday. We appreciate the kind comments about O’Rourke Park from the Donegal supporters. Best of luck to Adam and Alan McDermott, Jonathan Hester and the Roscommon u17 team and management in the all Ireland quarter final against Kerry in Limerick next Saturday at 3pm.
