The senior team play Boyle in the championship eight place playoff next Sunday in Strokestown at 6-15 pm. 
The u16 boywere defeated by Oran in the championshiplast week, they play Michael Glavey’s this Tuesday and Boyle on Friday eveningboth games in O’Rourke Park at 7pm
The minor boys defeated St Aidan’s lastFriday; they play Tulsk on Saturday 6th September
The u12 boys defeated Western Gael’s last Sunday in O’Rourke Park. Gaelic for mothers and other’s continues on Tuesday evenings in O’Rourke Park. 
The ladies minor team lost to Eire Og last week, they play Padraig Pearse’s in the quarter final this Tuesday in Woodmount at 7pm. The intermediate ladies were defeated by Western Gael’s in their final group game after a very solid performance. Check or Aertel page 452 or local press for all club fixtures and results. We extend our sympathy to the Flanagan family Foughill on the death of Kathleen Flanagan last week, may she rest in peace.Coaching for boys and girls u6 to u12 continues in O’Rourke Park on Mondays at 6-30pm. Congratulations to Hugh Rooney, Joseph Henry and the Roscommon u21 hurler’s on their All Ireland semi-final win over Kerry last week, Hugh is the team captain. They play Kildare in the All-Ireland final on September 13th
There was no winner of the lotto jackpot of €6,900 on Friday 22th August. Numbers drawn on the night were 91434 and 35. €50 winneron the night were Mildred BeirneTom & Dick McDonagh Peter Caulfield and Aoife McDonald. Next week’s jackpot is 7,000 and the draw takes place in Caulfield’s on Friday 29th August. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5.
