Club Notes 25 - 05 - 2014

The u14 boys defeated Roscommon Gaels and lost to Oran in the league last week. They play Clan Na nGael this Tuesday in the semi-final in Johnstown at 7-15pm. 

The junior team play St Ronan's in the Tansey Cup next Sunday in O'Rourke Park at 2pm. 

The senior team's game against Tulsk in the O'Gara cup was postponed last Sunday due to the county players being unavailable, their next game is the senior championship first round versus Roscommon Gaels on Saturday 14th June at 8pm in Hyde Park. 

The u12 girls played Western Gael's in their final league game on Monday; they now go forward to the knockout stages in early June. They play in a Connaught blitz in the Connaught centre of excellence on Saturday 1st June. 

The u14 girls play St Faithleach's in Ballyleague on Wednesday 28th May at 7pm. Check www.gaaroscomon.ie or Aertel page 452 or local press for all club fixtures and results. 

Coaching for boys and girls u6 to u12 continues in O'Rourke Park on Mondays at 6-30pm. 

Congratulations to club player Nigel Dinneen on his election to Roscommon County Council and commiserations to club member John Murphy on the loss of his seat. 

There was no winner of the lotto jackpot of €5,600 on Friday 23rd May. Numbers drawn on the night were 3, 30, 34 and 36. €50 winners on the night were A Mullarkey, Fr M Donnelly, T& O Vaughan and C & J Corcoran. Next week's jackpot is €5,700 and the draw takes place in Silke's on Friday 30th May. Tickets on sale in shops and pubs in town or any club official at €2 per panel or three panels for €5.
