Club Notes 27 - 04 - 2014

The senior team play Clan Na nGael next Sunday in the O’Gara cup in O’Rourke Park 
at 4pm. 

The u16 boys were defeated by Oran in their final league game last Sunday 
in O’Rourke Park. 

The u14 boys’ team defeated St Brigid’s and lost to Clan Na nGael 
in the last week, their next game is against Roscommon Gaels on Thursday 15th
in Roscommon at 7pm. 

The u12 girls had a good win over Roscommon Gael’s last 
Wednesday in Roscommon; they play Boyle on Wednesday 30th
at 7pm. 

The u16 girls beat Padraig Pearses in the division 2b semi-final last Sunday; they 
play St Faithleach’s in the final next weekend. Check www.gaaroscomon.ie or Aertel

Coaching for boys and girls u6 to 
u12 continues in O’Rourke Park on Mondays at 6-30pm. Best of luck to Nigel Dinneen, 
Fintan Kelly, Dara Bruen and the Roscommon u21 team in the all-Ireland final against 
Dublin next Saturday in Tullamore, also we wish Claire Raftery and the Roscommon 
ladies the best of luck in the division 4 league final. 

Congratulations to Neill Collins and the Roscommon senior team on their division 3 league final win over Cavan last 
Saturday in Croke Park, also to Hugh Rooney and the Roscommon senior hurlers on their win over Donegal in the Nicky Rackard cup, they play Monaghan in the next round next Saturday. 

The 25 card drive continues next Sunday night 4th May in O’Rourke centre. 

Congratulations to Claire Raftery who was named Connaught ruby player of the year last Saturday. 

There was no winner of the lotto jackpot of €4,300 on Friday 25th,
Numbers drawn on the night were 9, 11, 12 and 22. €40 winners on the night were Mary Reilly, 
Frances Cooke, Lisa Hannelly and Seamus Mannion. Next week’s jackpot is €4,400 and the draw 
takes place in Caulfield’s on Friday night 02nd
